Ever since we first went here it is our go to for a delicious Italian dinner. We are vegan and they have an amazing eggplant marinara that is delicious. There is also a pasta primavera that we like - especially in summer. They are incredibly accommodating of our vegan diet and brought us olive oil and balsamic vinegar with bread to start. It is great for a date night but we also come here with our two kids who love reading and coloring the coloring books they provide at the front.

It's loud. It's true, authentic Italian. You will want to come back again and again! I legit dream about how delicious this dinner was and wish I could go back. It is worth the trip to the north part of the PNW! I was most impressed with the attention and care the service team gives. Everyone from the Owner to the service team are knowledgeable about the menu and pride themselves on caring, attentive service. My daughter dropped her fork and before she had full reached down to get it, a gentleman had already brought her a new fork. The food... incredible doesn't seem to do it justice. Some of the most delicious, authentic, comforting dynamic Italian food in the PNW. Arrive when they open and make a reservation because the restaurant gets busy and you do not want to miss out on their specials. We ordered the bruschetta, the kids Mac n cheese, and the evening special of filet mignon with a Gorgonzola cream sauce.

This was the best meal we have had in Skagit County. The food was fantastic. The service was wonderful. This restaurant is the closest to my family italian in all of WA.

I think this is one of my top 20 favorite meals of all time...maybe even top 10. From the moment you step foot inside, it's pure chaos. We went early and it looked half full, so we were sat at the bar, which was fine by us. I don't believe there was an actual bartender, rather there were about 5-10 employees walking by that seemed to take turns doing whatever needed to be done, and while chaotic, they seemed to have a system that worked. The only wrench in the works is Papa, who is a character. Someone went to see if there was a table and while he was gone Papa came over to ask us if we needed a table. We told him someone was already checking and he made sure we knew that he was the only one that does that, which was kind of weird. I think he actually adds to the chaos but he also adds to the charm, but it's kind of a fine line dividing the two. The people next to us were sat about 5 minutes after us, and they ate their entire meal and paid before we got our food, which illustrates again the chaos of the place. Normally this would have annoyed me more, but the free bread and the bruschetta appetizer we shared was so good, it was nice to just sit and take in the atmosphere while waiting on our entrees. When our meals finally came out I just about died and went to heaven. Cannelloni stuffed with goat cheese and pork belly with a truffle infused sauce was just magnificent. Seriously, I couldn't stop smiling with every bite. My wife had the butternut squash ravioli and it tasted like a warm fire on a crisp October evening. I had to be rolled out of the restaurant when we were done! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for something a little more upscale. I have a feeling the chaos could turn some people off...while I don't mind food coming slow, when the people next to you get served 20 minutes before you, you start to wonder if they forgot about you. We did have to remind them that we had ordered wine after waiting about 15 minutes for it. Again, minor things made up for by the friendly service and the amazing food. We'll definitely be back. In fact we were wondering if it's possible to be locals even if you live an hour away. Go visit, I hope you'll love it as much as we did!

The food is awesome, however it is not cheap. It is a fair price for what you get, the portions are good, they get busy, so sometimes the service is slow, but they do get to you... Just be proactive to order drinks and such, otherwise you may have to wait... It is a casual atmosphere, however the dress is better than sweatpants and leggings... Make reservations if you can, because the wait will be long..... Bottom line is that I will be back, because it is worth it..

I was in town for my business and order take-out. It was the best Spaghetti Di Mare/spaghetti Seafood I ever had!! The sauce was delicious, al dente noodle and very fresh seafood. The Italian owner, I think, was very attentive and friendly, very good service . The lady who took care my order was very, very sweet and nice. I will come back again !!

Dining at this restaurant is definitely experience! We came here on a whim on a Saturday night because we were in town for a friend's memorial service. Street parking was relatively easy to find. Most of the surrounding shops seemed closed, besides a few other bars/restaurants. There was already a line nearly out the door when we arrived and despite being a small party of two, we had to wait a bit before being seated. There isn't a buzzer system and there are only a couple of seats in the small waiting area so be prepared. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance! The owner is a funny, outgoing, elder Italian man who also runs the front area (and occasionally shouts to the buzzers/cooks haha). I was surprised to find that there was a live accordion player walking around the restaurant playing music (both classical and modern). It was a unique touch! Once we were seated, we had some complimentary bread (with high quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar). All of the staff we interacted with were very nice. I ordered a mussel/clam appetizer but with just the clams (and confirmed this with our waiter twice). They initially brought out the wrong dish but were quick to apologize/fix it. I'm glad I got an appetizer because it took a while for our food to come out. We weren't in a rush so it didn't bother us much, though it was getting a bit late. The food was above average but not mind-blowing, though I think the PNW generally lacks in the Italian food area. Overall, I would come here again because it was a fun time. I'd just try to make a reservation beforehand and come prepared for a potential wait when it comes to our food coming out.
